Propecia is not a cure for hair loss, but it can help to slow down and reverse any further hair loss. It is also not a good idea to stop taking Propecia or stop taking other medicines or supplements.
The following medicines may interact with Propecia:
Propecia (finasteride) works by blocking the production of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is responsible for hair loss in men. By blocking the conversion of DHT to DHT in the body, Propecia prevents further hair loss by slowing down hair loss and promoting hair regrowth.
Propecia is used to treat male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) and alopecia areata (hair loss caused by excess hair growth in women). It also treats hair loss in men with male pattern baldness. Propecia works by blocking the production of DHT, which helps prevent further hair loss and promotes hair regrowth.
Propecia usually starts to work within 30 minutes of beginning the treatment. However, taking a higher dose of Propecia can be dangerous and increase the risk of side effects.

Really works well. Half an my old one. I started having some hair change on both sides of my scalp and I started getting a very thin line of hair (about my same time) but it wasn't getting better or the cause was getting worse I started losing my hair and the next day I started getting a very strong line of hair around the front of my head and it was about time to stop losing it and I'm now really happy with my new one and I'm not losing it anymore (hoping this is helping) but I've no idea where my hair was but I'm not sure where to start but I'm a bit far from Dr Fox.

The cheapest Propecia is available. They medical team have treated more hair on Propecia (propecia) as well than any other finasteride clinical hair loss treatment is available right now. I've been suffering through it for months. Everytime I say my hair looks good my hair is falling out. I'm at my blog… visited your GP once and have no complaints. But the hair loss is getting worse and worse I cant do much about it but you could be the cause. Any ideas?
I've been taking Propecia for over 6 years and never once have i been this happy. I've had to stop taking it because of the sudden decrease in sex drive and the sudden absence of bald patches. My doctor has now stopped taking me for the past 6 years and I'm still not happy with the hair I've lost however I know that I know how this goes I've tried other hair loss treatments but they have not helped either.

this is a high-quality service. The pharmacy we use has not been hit by a expensive product per-eurole has been at a low price in the UK in the past decade but since revamping its service we are getting low prices and it's been lower we can't help but to pay for the original medication

Living with noticeable hair loss is no longer to be expected due to the incredible developments that have been made in the treatment of men’s hair loss. With the introduction of Propecia, generic name Finasteride, it is now possible to stop or slow down the progression of hair loss in the majority of men who use it.
Fifty percent of all men experience male-patterned baldness; the most common type of hair loss beginning around the age of thirty.
It generally starts as a receding hairline; a thinning of hair on the crown and temples; resulting in a U-shape pattern around the head. In some rare cases, a male may end up completely bald.
The condition is genetic; caused by an abundance of the male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which causes the hair follicles to become weak and eventually inactive, resulting in a lack of hair re-growth. This process can take decades, so if you have experienced rapid hair loss (under a year) or scalp irritation causing bald patches, you should seek medical advice from your GP to ensure there are no underlying thyroid conditions or other reasons for the condition.

Finasteride prevents further hair loss and re-growth, so you will still be suppressing your natural testosterone production, and is a proven option for those who prefer not to take the risk of the hormone exposure to your hair follicles.

Finasteride (Propecia) is a medication often prescribed to treat hair loss. We are used to dealing with the possibility of a receding hairline or bald patch. This can occur due to an enlarged prostate, hair loss in specific areas of the scalp, or a combination of both. It is important to talk with your doctor about all the medications you are currently taking to determine if this medication is the right treatment for your hair loss.
What is Finasteride?
Finasteride is a prescription medication. It is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, meaning it reduces levels of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). High DHT levels cause hair follicles to shrink and eventually stop producing hair, which can cause hair thinning, balding, and/or hair loss. Finasteride also decreases the amount of testosterone (male sex hormone) which is converted into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
